9/4/2023 0 Comments Jriver serverI can't find a way to make JRiver refresh the data it has imported from MinimServer, other than disconnecting from MinimServer and reconnecting. In the future, I am hoping to be able to automate this. The MinimServer rescan is initiated manually at present. Do you have to do something similar to Jriver to get it to reread from MinimServer? If it imports the library, what happens when you add new music? In that case, I presume you have to manually tell MinimServer to rescan. If you are eliminating MinimServer and using JRiver as the server, JRiver will have full access to the tags in your files. I thought you meant using MinimServer as your library server and using JRiver+JRemote as a UPnP control point to access this library using a nice iOS UI and play the files on the OPPO. I misunderstood what you were saying about JRiver. ![]() It's just that at present I don't have many files with things like Composer. Thanks for the Intelligent Browser explanation. Are you saying to use Media Center to instead act as some sort of a client or renderer to MinimServer? As a renderer I wouldn't think it could then send data to the Oppo. Then JRemote on iOS can browse that and get Media Center to send files to the Oppo.
